Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring they are well incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture until just combined.

Baking
  1. Drop rounded tablespoons onto the prepared sheets, spaced adequately apart.
  2. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden but centers are soft.
  3. Allow cooling on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze layered with parchment paper in a freezer bag for up to three months.
