  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sour cream at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate sauce for topping

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, milk, eggs, oil, sour cream, and vanilla.
  • Mix until everything is well combined and smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then flip it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. You can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top for extra indulgence. Wrap leftovers tightly in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature, or in the fridge for up to a week.
