Method
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, blend together the creamy peanut butter and melted butter until smooth.
- Gradually stir in the sifted powdered sugar until the mixture is well combined and creamy.
- Shape the mix into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up the peanut butter balls.
Coating
- While they are firming up, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using the double boiler method.
- Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated, and let any excess chocolate drip off.
- Return the chocolate-covered balls to the baking sheet and drizzle over some caramel sauce.
- Chill in the fridge until the chocolate has set completely. Serve and enjoy with your loved ones!
Notes
Store the snowballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze before chocolate coating and thaw before serving. Adjust your coating or add-ins for creative twists.
