Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened) Make sure the butter is softened but not melted.
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Baking Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy (about two minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden around the edges but soft in the center. Let cool on wire racks before enjoying.
Notes
