Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers remain soft.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
