Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk over the cherry filling.
- Sprinkle the cocoa powder evenly over the sweetened condensed milk.
- Dump the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the top.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, allowing it to soak through.
- Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips on top.
Baking
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is set and golden brown on the edges.
- Let cool slightly before serving for best texture.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, chocolate or caramel sauce, or fresh berries. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days. Freeze for up to three months.
