Ingredients
  

For Chicken Pot Pie

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup diced yellow onion
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/3 cups chicken stock
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup frozen peas & carrots
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken breast meat
  • 14.1 ounces ready-made double pie crusts
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon water

For Chicken Pot Pie Noodles

  • 6 ounces white mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups large egg noodles
  • 1 5-ounce canned corn, drained
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley

For Chili

  • 2 pounds ground beef or turkey
  • 2 small green peppers, diced
  • 2 cans tomatoes, diced
  • 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 6 ounce can tomato paste
  • 15 ounces water
  • 2 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 3 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

For Chicken & Dumplings

  • 3 to 4 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 8 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons Better than Bouillon Chicken
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2/3 cup milk

Instructions
 

Chicken Pot Pie

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a skillet, melt butter and add onion, cooking until soft.
  • Stir in chicken bouillon, thyme, salt, and pepper; add flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Gradually add chicken stock, cream of chicken soup, and heavy cream, stirring until thickened.
  • Mix in peas, corn, and chicken, then pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  • Cover with the top crust and brush with an egg wash.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.

Chicken Pot Pie Noodles

  • In a pot, melt butter and sauté mushrooms, onion, celery, and carrots until tender.
  • Add water, garlic, and bouillon, bringing to a boil.
  • Stir in half and half, seasonings, noodles, corn, and peas.
  • Cook until noodles are tender.

Chili

  • In a large pot, brown ground beef or turkey.
  • Add peppers and onion, cooking until soft.
  • Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, paste, water, beans, and seasonings.
  • Simmer for 30-45 minutes.

Chicken & Dumplings

  • In a pot, combine chicken, water, bouillon, butter, carrots, celery, and onions; simmer.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, milk, and seasonings.
  • Drop spoonfuls of batter into the soup, cover, and cook until dumplings are done.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop, adding a splash of water or broth if necessary to keep the dishes moist. For longer storage, most of these recipes can be frozen for up to three months.
