Ingredients
  

Pasta and Protein

  • 8 oz pasta Use your favorite type of pasta.
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded Leftover cooked chicken works well.
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled Crispy bacon adds flavor.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to use other types of cheese.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing Use your preferred brand.

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  • In the same skillet, add the flour and cook for about a minute. Slowly whisk in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the ranch dressing, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Assembly

  • Once the sauce thickens, add the shredded chicken, cooked pasta, and crumbled bacon. Mix well.
  • Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted. Serve warm.

Notes

This dish can be served with a fresh garden salad or steamed broccoli for a balanced meal. To store leftovers, place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days, or freeze for 2 months.
