  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 6 oz package stuffing mix Pre-packaged stuffing mix for convenience.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted Ensure it is melted before mixing.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: vegetables such as peas or carrots Add for extra nutrition and flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, combine the stuffing mix, milk, and melted butter. Stir until the stuffing is moistened.

Assembly and Baking

  • In a greased casserole dish, spread the chicken mixture evenly.
  • Top with the stuffing mixture, spreading it evenly over the chicken.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is hot and the top is golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm. Pair with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze up to 3 months.
