Ingredients

For the Bombs
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (10 biscuits)
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • to taste powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, blend the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, take each biscuit dough and flatten it into a 4-inch circle.
  4. Place a teaspoon of cherry pie filling in the center of each dough circle.
  5. Add a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture on top of the cherries.
  6. Carefully fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges together to seal, creating a small ball.
  7. Arrange the filled dough balls seam side down on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Brush each ball with melted butter and sprinkle ground cinnamon over them.
  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  10. Allow cooling slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
