Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet with the beef. Stir and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle half of each cheese (cheddar and mozzarella) along the edges of the dough to create your stuffed crust.
- Spoon the cooked taco meat over the cheese and fold the dough over, pinching the edges to seal everything inside.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Add the remaining cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve with salsa, sour cream, and your favorite toppings!
Notes
For a lighter version, swap ground beef for ground turkey. You can customize the cheese mix and add toppings according to preferences.
