  • 1 lb ground beef Feel free to swap for ground turkey or a plant-based alternative.
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow) You can use different pasta shapes.
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Experiment with other cheese varieties.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Brown 1 lb of ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  2. Add in 1 diced onion and 3 minced garlic cloves to the skillet. Cook until the onion becomes translucent, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Stir in 2 cups of uncooked pasta, 2 cups of beef broth, and season with salt and pepper. Bring everything to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, reduce heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for about 12-15 minutes or until the pasta is cooked to your liking.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until it melts and combines into a creamy sauce.
  6. Serve the cheesy creation warm and enjoy!

Notes

For serving, consider garnishing with freshly chopped parsley, serving with garlic bread or a crisp green salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
