Ingredients
  

For the dip
  • 32 oz refried beans
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until everything is smooth and well blended.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish, smoothing it out so the layer is even throughout.
  4. Top the mixture with both shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and starts to turn golden.
  2. Let the dip rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies like carrot sticks and celery. For added spice, include diced jalapeƱos or cayenne pepper. You can also make it lighter by using low-fat dairy options.
