  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes Make them extra creamy by adding milk or butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion
  • 1/3 cup crumbled bacon
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, egg, minced garlic, and crumbled bacon until well combined.
  • Spread the meat mixture evenly in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
  • Layer the mashed potatoes on top of the meat mixture, spreading them evenly.
  • Optional: Add cheese on top of the mashed potatoes for extra flavor, if desired.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until heated through and slightly golden on top.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables. Consider drizzling with barbecue sauce or gravy for extra flavor. Can store in refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
