  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 ounces)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (15 ounces)
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef to reduce fat content.

Seasonings

  • Black pepper Add however much you like.
  • Salt Add as much as you need.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Increase for a more robust taste.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion on medium heat until the beef is browned and no pink remains.
  • Drain off the fat, then stir in the diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the mixture and stir well to combine.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melty and bubbly.

Serving

  • Let the casserole cool briefly before serving.
