  • 1 loaf loaf of bread dough Use fresh or pre-made dough.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Gooey cheese is essential.
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon Adds a crispy flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter For richness and moisture.
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder Optional for added flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the bread dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella cheese, cooked bacon, minced garlic, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread this mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll up the dough into a log and slice it into 1-inch pieces.
  6. Arrange the pieces in a circle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming a wreath shape.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  2. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the wreath and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
