Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, cornmeal, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Stir well until everything is thoroughly mixed.
- Shape the mixture into small, even-sized patties.
Cooking
- Heat a little cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they’re nicely browned and cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess grease.
- Transfer the patties to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven until they are crispy on the outside.
- Enjoy these delicious Cheesy Bacon Double Patty Corn Sticks while they’re fresh and warm!
Notes
Serve with a side of zesty dipping sauces like ranch, BBQ, or spicy mayo for an extra kick. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen.
