  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 ea egg

  • as needed Cooking oil For frying.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, cornmeal, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Stir well until everything is thoroughly mixed.
  3. Shape the mixture into small, even-sized patties.
Cooking
  1. Heat a little cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they’re nicely browned and cooked through.
  2. Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess grease.
  3. Transfer the patties to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven until they are crispy on the outside.
  4. Enjoy these delicious Cheesy Bacon Double Patty Corn Sticks while they’re fresh and warm!
