Cheesy Alfredo Chicken Pull-Apart Pizza Knots

Ingredients
  

Dough and Fillings
  • 1 lb pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken Pre-cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken works best
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce Can be substituted with pizza sauce or pesto
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to use other cheese varieties
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley Dried herbs can be used if fresh is not available
  • 1/4 cup melted butter For brushing the knots
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded chicken over the Alfredo sauce, followed by the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  5. Sprinkle half of the chopped parsley over the cheese.
  6. Roll up the dough lengthwise like a jellyroll, then slice into 1-inch pieces.
  7. Tie each slice into a knot and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Brush the butter mixture over the knots, making sure to coat each one well.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  4. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining parsley over the top.
Serving

Notes

Store any leftover knots in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
