Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Take each chicken breast and place it between two sheets of plastic wrap. Pound them to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Spread a generous amount of ranch dressing over each breast.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on top evenly.
- Roll each chicken breast tightly and secure with toothpicks.
Cooking
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken rolls and brown them on all sides, which should take about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer your neatly browned chicken rolls to a baking dish. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is beautifully melted.
- Serve hot, and enjoy!
Notes
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain cheese texture.
