  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped Lightly toast for enhanced flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Using unsalted butter helps control salt levels.
For Drizzling

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, powdered sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy and light in color.
  3. Blend in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour, salt, and chopped pecans, stirring just until combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, keeping them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Once baked, remove from the oven and transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
Finishing Touch
  1. After cooling, drizzle the cookies with caramel sauce to finish them off.
  2. Serve on a decorative platter alongside drinks or enjoy them fresh!

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You may freeze them, placing parchment paper between layers. Chill dough for 30 minutes if it's too soft to scoop. Consider adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm flavor.
