  • 1 cup chopped pecans Can substitute with walnuts.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Adjust if using salted butter.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour and salt, ensuring everything is thoroughly combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans gently.
  6. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bottoms are golden brown.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool slightly before rolling them in powdered sugar while they are still warm.
  3. Transfer to a wire rack and let them cool completely before serving.

Notes
