- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, stirring until fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly fold this mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in the butterscotch chips, making sure they're evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and use a spatula to spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the blondies to cool completely before cutting them into squares.

Store leftover blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in individual portions.
