Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 24 pieces Oreo cookies Crushed finely for best results
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter Melted

For the filling

  • 1 box Chocolate pudding mix Use instant pudding
  • 2 cups Milk For preparing pudding
  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 8 oz Cool Whip Thawed
  • 1 cup Butterfinger Bits For topping

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreo cookies and mix them with melted butter to form the crust.
  • Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a pan.

Filling

  • Prepare the chocolate pudding according to the package directions using milk.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  • Fold in the Cool Whip and spread this mixture over the crust you made.
  • Layer the prepared chocolate pudding over the cream cheese mixture.
  • Top the dessert with Butterfinger Bits for some extra crunch.

Chill

  • Refrigerate the Butterfinger Lush until it is set before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled, cut into squares. Extra Butterfinger Bits can be used for garnish. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
