Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup peanut butter Can substitute with almond butter or other nut butter.
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Use room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Add more if mixture is too sticky.
Optional Topping
  • as needed melted chocolate For dipping; can use dark, milk, or white chocolate.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, blend together the peanut butter, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar into the mixture. Stir well until everything is combined flawlessly.
  3. With your hands, roll the mixture into small balls and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate the balls for about 30 minutes, allowing them to firm up.
  5. If desired, dip each ball in melted chocolate, then return them to the refrigerator to set.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen for up to three months, separated by parchment paper. For a twist, consider adding crushed candy bars or a hint of sea salt.
