Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted Make sure it cools slightly before using.
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs Add one at a time.
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate chips for extra flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fully combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop tablespoons of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store Brownie Cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. For extra richness, you can add nuts like walnuts or pecans.
