Ingredients
  

For the base

  • 8 ounces cream cheese Make sure it's softened to room temperature.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 8 ounces extra-creamy whipped topping

For the fruit mixture

  • 3 cups fresh blueberries Fresh blueberries recommended.
  • 21 ounces can blueberry pie filling

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  • Fold in sour cream and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  • Stir in the fresh blueberries and blueberry pie filling.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Give it a gentle stir before serving as separation may occur. For a fun twist, add crushed graham crackers on top before serving or use mixed berries instead of just blueberries.
