Ingredients
  

Blueberry Filling

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries Use fresh for best flavor, thaw frozen if using.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar For blueberry filling.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Ensure it's melted.
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For sprinkling on top.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar Remaining sugar for batter.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the blueberries, 1/2 cup sugar, and lemon juice. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and melted butter until smooth. Pour this batter over the blueberries.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the batter.

Baking

  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  • Let the cobbler cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an added touch of sweetness. You can store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
