Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 fresh orange habanero peppers (stemmed, wear gloves) Wear gloves when handling to avoid skin irritation.
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar Can substitute with apple cider vinegar for a unique tang.
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika or chipotle powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 juice of lime
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Slowly blend in to emulsify the sauce.

Preparation

  • Blend the habaneros, garlic, vinegar, water, lime juice, tomato paste, and paprika in a blender until smooth.
  • Add the sea salt and slowly blend in olive oil to emulsify the fire.
  • Simmer the mixture in a saucepan for 8–10 minutes to deepen the flavor.
  • Cool the sauce completely and transfer it to a sterilized glass jar.
  • Let it rest for 24 hours before the first use for full intensity.

Notes

To keep your sauce fresh, store it in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator. It will last for up to a month but is likely to be used up before then.
