For the Casserole

  • 1 can Pillsbury Grands biscuits Use original or your preferred variety.
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage Cook until browned.
  • 1 package country gravy mix Prepare according to package instructions.
  • 1 cup cheese Your favorite cheese, shredded.
  • 6 large eggs Whisked with milk.
  • 1/2 cup milk Whole milk is recommended.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • In a greased casserole dish, layer the Pillsbury Grands biscuits at the bottom.
  • Top with the cooked sausage, cheese, and then pour the egg mixture on top.
  • Prepare the country gravy according to package instructions and pour over the casserole.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

Notes
