Ingredients
  

Salad Base

  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 2 cups chopped lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onion.

Make the Dressing

  • In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.

Combine and Serve

  • Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.

Notes

Keep the dressing separate until you're ready to eat to maintain freshness. You can customize by adding other vegetables like cucumber or bell peppers.
