  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough Ensure it's at room temperature for easier rolling.
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce Can substitute with pesto for a different flavor.
Filling
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to experiment with other cheeses.
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni Substitute with turkey pepperoni for a lighter option.
Garlic Mixture
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For a bold flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to create a large circle.
  3. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Layer the sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Brush this garlic mixture generously over the pepperoni layer.
  8. Roll the pizza dough tightly into a wheel shape, starting from one end.
  9. Place the dough wheel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Notes

Store leftovers wrapped in plastic wrap or aluminum foil in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
