For the Cake
  • 1 box devil’s food cake mix Opt for the brand you love
For the Topping
  • 18 oz Cool Whip For a fluffy topping
  • 16 oz caramel sauce Caramel lovers rejoice!
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk For sweetness and creaminess
  • 4 pieces Heath bars Crushed, for a satisfying crunch

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bake the cake: Prepare the devil’s food cake according to the package instructions. Once it’s baked, allow it to cool completely.
  2. Poke holes: Once cooled, use the end of a wooden spoon or fork to poke holes all over the top of the cake.
  3. Pour the sauces: Gently pour the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce over the holes, letting them seep in.
  4. Top it off: Spread a generous layer of Cool Whip over the cake.
  5. Add the crunch: Sprinkle the crushed Heath bars over the Cool Whip layer.
  6. Chill: Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. For freezing, slice and wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then in aluminum foil. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before serving. For best results, allow cake to cool completely before applying toppings.
