  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour blend
  • 1 cup sugar Adjust if berries are very sweet
  • 1 cup milk Any type of milk can be used
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Ensure the butter is melted before mixing
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder Leavening agent for the cobbler
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Balancing flavor

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle mixed berries evenly over the batter.

Baking

  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your cobbler warm, optionally with ice cream.

Notes
