Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until nicely browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onions become translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the BBQ sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
Assembly and Baking
- In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer the cooked noodles, meat mixture, shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and diced pickles.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ensuring the final layer is topped with cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
