Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted butter softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the salted butter and white sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the ripe bananas, Greek yogurt, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool and serve.

Notes

Best served warm. Pair with butter or cream cheese. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Mix-ins like nuts or dried fruits can be added for variation.
