Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish.
- Halve the pears lengthwise and scoop out the cores. Trim the bottoms if necessary, so they sit flat.
Baking
- Place the pears cut-side up in the baking dish. Brush with melted butter or olive oil.
- Drizzle each pear half with honey. Sprinkle with cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and lemon juice.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then remove and spoon some pan juices over the pears.
- Add crumbled feta to the centers and scatter cranberries on top. Return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
- For a caramelized top, broil for 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely.
- Allow the pears to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
