  • 3-4 large large russet potatoes, sliced into wedges Use fresh potatoes for the best texture.
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with another oil if desired.
  • 2 teaspoons salt Adjust based on taste.
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can also be used.
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning Feel free to use your preferred herbs.
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese Can substitute with other cheeses for variations.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Toss until the potatoes are well coated.
  • Spread the potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese on top.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider serving with marinara sauce or garlic aioli. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
