Ingredients
  

For the pie

  • 1 deep-dish pie crust 1 deep-dish pie crust (store-bought or homemade), pre-baked
  • 6–8 slices 6–8 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 large 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1.5 cups 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Use freshly grated for best melt and flavor.

For the creamy mixture

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, flour, and garlic powder until smooth.
  • Spread the mixture evenly over the pre-baked pie crust.
  • Layer the crumbled bacon, sliced onions, and tomatoes on top of the mixture.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Pairs perfectly with a simple green salad or roasted vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for up to two months. Reheat in the oven before serving.
