Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked macaroni noodles, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Slice each mozzarella stick in half lengthwise.
- Take a handful of the beef mixture, flatten it in your palm, and place a mozzarella half in the center. Wrap the beef around the stick, ensuring it's completely covered.
- Repeat this process for all the mozzarella sticks.
Coating and Frying
- Beat the eggs in a shallow dish and prepare breadcrumbs in another.
- Dip each stuffed mozzarella stick in the egg first, then coat it with breadcrumbs thoroughly.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the stuffed mozzarella sticks in batches for about 4-5 minutes per batch, or until golden brown and the beef is cooked fully.
- Once done, remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serving
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
Notes
To ensure crispy mozzarella sticks, keep the oil temperature between 350°F to 375°F. Avoid overcrowding the pan when frying.
