  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Coating
  • 2 eggs Beaten, for coating.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
Mozzarella Sticks
  • 12 pieces mozzarella sticks
For Frying

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked macaroni noodles, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Slice each mozzarella stick in half lengthwise.
  3. Take a handful of the beef mixture, flatten it in your palm, and place a mozzarella half in the center. Wrap the beef around the stick, ensuring it's completely covered.
  4. Repeat this process for all the mozzarella sticks.
Coating and Frying
  1. Beat the eggs in a shallow dish and prepare breadcrumbs in another.
  2. Dip each stuffed mozzarella stick in the egg first, then coat it with breadcrumbs thoroughly.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the stuffed mozzarella sticks in batches for about 4-5 minutes per batch, or until golden brown and the beef is cooked fully.
  5. Once done, remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Notes

To ensure crispy mozzarella sticks, keep the oil temperature between 350°F to 375°F. Avoid overcrowding the pan when frying.
