  • 6-8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled Smoked bacon can be used for extra flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese Feel free to swap with your favorite cheese variety.
  • 4 large tortillas Ensure tortillas are large enough to hold the filling.
  • 1/4 cup diced onions Optional.
  • 1/4 cup ketchup Optional.
  • 1/4 cup mustard Optional.

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and season with salt and pepper for flavor.
Combining Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, mix the cooked ground beef with crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, diced onions (if using), ketchup, and mustard. Stir well to combine.
Rolling It Up
  1. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a generous portion of the mixture into the center of the tortilla. Roll it up tightly, ensuring the filling stays inside.
Pan-Searing the Roll-Ups
  1. Heat a bit of oil in the skillet over medium heat. Place the roll-ups seam side down and cook until crispy and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Serving the Roll-Ups
  1. Once cooked, slice the roll-ups into pinwheels and serve them warm.

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, allow them to cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze them wrapped in plastic wrap for up to three months.
