  • 1 Honeycrisp apple, diced
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, diced apple, chopped nuts, and red onion.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss until well-coated.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best enjoyed within the first day or two for maximum crunch. Freezing is not recommended. For added crunch, toast the nuts before adding. Add some dried cranberries or raisins for extra sweetness. Experiment with different apple varieties for varied flavors.
