Preparation
- Start by boiling a medium saucepan of water. Once it’s boiling, add the cheese tortellini and cook for about 4 minutes.
- Carefully drain the tortellini and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process. Ensure to drain well for achieving a crispy finish.
- In a medium bowl, drizzle the tortellini with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, kosher salt, black pepper, and half of the grated parmesan. Mix until well-coated.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F, if required, and spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray.
- Arrange the tortellini in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 6 minutes, then shake the basket and return for another 5 to 6 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer tortellini to a serving dish, sprinkle with remaining parmesan and chopped parsley, and enjoy!
Notes
For storage, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, air fry for 3 to 4 minutes until crispy. Consider adding crushed red pepper flakes or sun-dried tomatoes for added flavor.
