  • 2 cups Fresh pumpkin seeds From a carved pumpkin or store-bought.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Can substitute with melted butter or other oils.
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt Adjust according to taste.
  • to taste Seasonings like paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon, and sugar Use your favorite spices.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (160°C).
  • If using fresh pumpkin seeds, rinse them thoroughly in cold water to remove any pumpkin flesh.
  • Pat the seeds dry with a kitchen towel or paper towel.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the seeds with olive oil, salt, and your chosen spices to coat them evenly.

Cooking

  • Spread the seasoned seeds in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for about 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Once golden brown and aromatic, remove the seeds from the air fryer.
  • Let them cool completely before eating.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary. Experiment with different spice combinations for unique flavors.
