Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted sweet cream butter Ensure butter is at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Mix-ins

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Feel free to substitute with different types of chocolate chips or add nuts

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  • In another bowl, cream together the butter, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the vanilla extract and the egg until well blended.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture, mixing just until blended.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of the dough onto parchment paper and place in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for about 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow cookies to cool before serving.

Notes

Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. Optionally, freeze for longer storage, separating layers with parchment paper.
