  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced For the best texture, slice evenly
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can adjust the amount for desired crispiness

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) For additional flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the potatoes evenly into thin rounds or wedges. In a bowl, toss the slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
Cooking
  1. Place the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd them.
  2. Once filled, insert the basket into the air fryer and set the timer.
  3. Air fry the chips for 15-20 minutes, tossing halfway through for even cooking. The chips should be golden and crispy.
  4. Once done, remove from the air fryer, taste for seasoning, and add extra salt or seasoning if needed.
  5. Serve immediately while hot and crispy, with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer for best texture. For longer storage, freeze uncooked slices after tossing with olive oil and seasonings.
