  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers) Use any combination of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Start by cooking your protein in a large pan over medium heat using olive oil for added flavor.
  2. Once the protein is browned, add the mixed vegetables and cook until tender.
  3. Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well until heated through.
  4. Remove from heat, and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm.

Notes

For optimal taste, use day-old rice and feel free to customize the protein and vegetables. Pair with fresh garden salad or roasted vegetables.
