Dip Layers

  • 32 oz canned refried beans Use as the base layer.
  • 1.5 cups mild guacamole Spread evenly over beans.
  • 2 cups sour cream Mix with taco seasoning before applying.
  • 1 oz mild taco seasoning Mix with sour cream for flavor.
  • 16 oz chunky mild salsa Layer on top of sour cream.
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce Use as the next layer.
  • 2 cups fiesta blend cheese Sprinkle generously on top.
  • 2.25 oz sliced black olives Use for garnish.
  • 1 cup roma tomatoes Chopped for topping.
  • 0.5 cup green onions Chopped for garnish.

Preparation

  • In a large serving dish, spread the refried beans on the bottom as the first layer.
  • Next, add a layer of guacamole.
  • Spread the sour cream mixed with taco seasoning over the guacamole.
  • Add the chunky salsa as the fourth layer.
  • Sprinkle shredded lettuce over the salsa.
  • Add fiesta blend cheese on top of the lettuce.
  • Garnish with sliced black olives, chopped roma tomatoes, and green onions.

Serving

  • Serve with a side of crunchy tortilla chips.

Storage

  • Cover leftovers tightly with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Notes

For extra flavor, use fresh ingredients like homemade guacamole or fresh tomatoes. Adjust layers based on taste, adding jalapeƱos for heat, if desired. A clear dish helps show off the beautiful layers.
