  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup butter Can substitute with coconut oil or margarine.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Try walnuts or pecans for added crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  2. Stir continuously until the mixture is melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and nuts (if using).
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch pan.
  5. Allow it to cool at room temperature for about 5 minutes, then refrigerate until set.
  6. Once set, cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

To serve, pair with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, or a drizzle of caramel sauce. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freeze for up to three months.
