Directions :

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, butter-flavored shortening, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add lemon zest, lemon extract, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in lemon juice.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternating with milk.
